Directions to the Lake Ossiacher See

By car

From the north and west:

 Coming from Salzburg 180 km you take the Tauernautobahn (A 10) up to the exit Villach - Ossiacher See. Turn to the left. Bundesstraße (A-road) 94. Continue 10 km on the north side of the Lake Ossiacher See until Bodensdorf. At the village boundary of Bodensdorf on the right there is a fuel station. After the fuel station turn to the right towards the lake.

From the east:

Route 1: B17 across the Semmering and Styria until St. Veit an der Glan. Across Feldkirchen in the direction of Villach. Pass through Bodensdorf. At the village boundary of Bodensdorf there is a fuel station. Turn to the left towards the lake.

Route 2: Across the southern motorway until the traffic junction Villach. Tauernautobahn in the direction of Salzburg until the exit Villach-Ossiacher See. Turn to the right. B 94 on the north side of the lake until Bodensdorf (10 km). At the village boundary of Bodensdorf there is the fuel station. Immediately after the fuel station you turn to the right and continue until you reach the lake.

Caution from where the lake begins - here the police often have speed controls with a laser gun!
